"“Howdy” “gamers,” it’s The King of Kong again. A.K.A. Billy “USA” Mitchell. Well people, I want to tell you about something very close to my heart. And that something is records. I know folks like jasper will say, “But what about games, Billy?” but to me, the act of setting a record is above mere gaming. I think that record-setting has been around much longer than games. How? Well that’s just a record mystery; not for us to know. When you set a record, you feel like you’ve triumphed yet again over someone less talented and skilled. Sure, they got that far, but you (I) take it much further. It’s showing the game designers that they obviously underestimated you (me); they didn’t take into account the skills of The -Undisputed- King of Kong. A real lack of foresight on their part, since everyone knows about me by now. Every time I get a high score, I wake old Walt (Walter Day) up, and celebrate with some hotsauce. I find it’s just the thing to calm me down after pumping up over a good game. My own Rickey’s Hotsauce has a love of games brewed into it, making it the perfect companion to a new record. And if you were wondering: yes, I do think about my hotsauce while gaming. It keeps me focused on the prize, and gets me juiced up. (In the more hectic record-setting escapades, I’ll sometimes send Walt to bring me some Rickey’s so I can chug it on the go.) So there you have it folks. My records and my sauce go hand-in-hand. I do not think one could exist without the other, but winners like me can enjoy either at any time.
